Subcutaneous, Orthotopic & Metastatic Xenografts

Creative Animodel has established more than 300 subcutaneous, 40 orthotopic and up-to-date metastatic xenograft models of solid tumors to support your preclinical drug efficiency tests, which involve the following tumor types but are not limited to: brain cancer, breast cancer, bladder cancer, bone cancer, cervical carcinoma, colorectal cancer, epidermoid carcinoma, gastric carcinoma, glioma, head and neck, liver cancer, lung cancer, melanoma, mesothelioma, nasopharyngeal carcinoma, neuroblastoma, ovarian cancer, pancreatic cancer, prostate cancer, renal carcinoma, sarcoma, skin cancer, thyroid cancer etc.

Subcutaneous, Orthotopic & Metastatic Xenografts Regarding to the fact that tumor cells are implanted directly into the origin organ, orthotopic tumor models are considered more clinically relevant and better predictive than standard subcutaneous xenografts. Our orthotopic tumor models includes renal sub-capsule orthotopic model, intracranial orthotopic model, intrasplenic hepatic colonization model (available for assessment of tumor development in a hepatic environment), and orthotopic breast tumor model, which allow a more representative picture of tumor growth and response to therapy scenario.

Except for the xenograft models mentioned above, targeting the most significant problem in the field of cancer, metastatic models are essential for broader understanding of the biology of metastases, of which characterization requires complex experimental systems. Creative Animodel is currently available for triple negative breast cancer, colorectal cancer metastasis models as well as a systemic distribution model by intracardiac injection of tumor cells. These animals develop multiple metastases throughout the body.
