Our animal models featuring physiological and pathological changing characteristic of each disease are available to provide cardiovasology study and drug testing services for clients. They include but are not limited to:
• Cardiovascular Disease Models
As cardiovascular disease (CVD) already has become the leading cause of death in the world, we have developed a large variety of transgenic mouse models, dog, and swine models to test the electrocardiographic phenotype, pulmonary hypertension, blood pressure and so on.
• Ischemia Models
We have both global ischemia and focal ischemia models to mimic features of human ischemia syndromes and study the problems with blood vessels. Metabolic and physiological parameters are measured before, during, and after ischemia. Parameters include the plasma glucose concentration, arterial blood pressure, pH, heart rate, etc.
• Myocardial Infarction Models
Myocardial infarction models are produced through genetic engineerings, such as the Kunming-strain mouse. All of our models with high prognostic power can present cardinal signs and pathology that resemble the human myocardial infarction disease.
